Booking / Payment Terms
All fees are payable on arrival at Imberpark. We accept payments by most major credit / debit cards or cash.
We do not accept payments by cheque.
A deposit of £30 per cat off peak / £50 per cat peak period is required before your booking can be accepted. This deposit is non-refundable and nontransferrable under any circumstances and is off set against administration.
Your cat(s)'s pen will be available for use from 8.30 am on your arrival date and until 5.00 pm on your date of departure. Therefore we charge for the day in and out (any part of a day counts as a whole). We prefer cats to be brought in as early as possible to help them settle and experience a full day with the staff, particularly for our first time boarder's.
A surcharge will apply for animals during our peak periods. (See tariff / front of booking form for current year's peak periods).
Refunds cannot be given for early returns. Alterations to dates giving two weeks or more notice will incur a £5 per date administration charge. Any subsequent or alterations made to bookings within two weeks of the arrival date will incur an administration charge of £10 per date.
Cats arriving late will be charged from the original date of booking unless prior notification is given.
Cats can only be accepted or given out within business hours. Owners or anyone authorised, must call the following day if unable to reach Imberpark by closing time on the day of departure, or, the next time of business, whichever is applicable. Please note business hours under the 'HOURS OF BUSINESS' section.
During the busy periods cats must be collected on stated day out. A surcharge of £5 per cat will apply for cats left longer than the dates reserved without prior notification, in addition to the normal daily rate.
A telephone enquiry / provisional booking is not accepted as a booking. To reserve a place for any animal, a completed booking form, together with a deposit is required from all customers before a booking is accepted. As we operate on a 'first come, first served basis with bookings, it is essential that booking forms and deposits are received by return to avoid disappointment. Any customer bringing their booking form with their animal(s) into the kennels on the day of entry will not be accepted.
No animal(s) will be accepted into the kennels / cattery without a UK contact name, address and telephone number. Owners / contacts will be asked to remove difficult animals from the kennels. Owners must make the contact aware of this responsibility.
Having dealt with the necessary paperwork and settled the boarding fees, cats will be taken from the customer by the kennel staff. No owners will be permitted to take their cat(s) into the kennels for insurance and health and safety purposes. This also helps reduce stress on the animals boarded. Whilst in our care, no animal will be allowed visitors as this can upset them.
Inoculations / Vaccinations
To be accepted into the cattery, all cats must be fully inoculated against Flu, Enteritis and Feline Leukaemia within the last 12 months and not less than four weeks prior to boarding. Vaccination certificates must be seen prior to boarding.
Temperament / Condition
All animals must be fit, in good condition and of pleasant temperament when entering Imberpark. In the event of your animal falling ill during boarding we reserve the right to call in a veterinary surgeon. All costs to be borne by the owner. This will include any veterinary call-out charges, transportation etc. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds to cover this. We reserve the right to turn away any animal which they feel is not suitable to be boarded.
It is emphasised whilst every care and attention is given, the proprietors accept no responsibility for injury due to your animal's behaviour whilst boarded in the kennels.
Owners are liable for any damage inflicted upon staff or property by their animal(s).
Should any animal be found to be hosting fleas, the person responsible for collecting the animal will at the time of collection, be liable for all costs of treating the animal and surrounding environment considered necessary by the owners of Imberpark Ltd.
Any animal 10 years and older whether they have boarded with us before may be subject to a medical health check by one of our team to establish if they are suitable to board again at our facilities, this may include a prior visit with your pet before your boarding arrival date, any animal deemed to be unsuitable to board with us will be refused entry
Belongings
Beds and toys are not required, they will be supplied. Please note, we accept no responsibility for loss or damage to customer belongings, ie. any type of bedding, toys, leads, collars etc. The pens are cleaned daily and toys etc are easily lost when the bedding etc is changed. Therefore we please ask you do not bring anything precious or anything you would not want to lose. We cannot guarantee bedding will be returned and or in the same condition it was brought in. Any destroyed or soiled bedding will be disposed of. It is the owner's responsibility to notify any persons prior to collecting any animals on their behalf of this condition.
It is stressed that all cats must be in a secure basket / carrier at all times when owners bring them in and also when they are collected as we accept no responsibility for loss or injury. Please note due to lack of storage space, no baskets or carriers can be left at the cattery whilst the cats are boarding.
Abandoned Animals
